Garden Villa Homestay is located the Heart of the Great Taj City. Our property is located South east of Agra. From Agra Cantt railway station/Airport one has to come on the mall road toward the world famous Taj Mahal direction and reach shastrizing and move on Shamsabad Road. We were very happy when we arrived at this homestay. We were collected from the train station and driven to the house (right on the edge of town). The driver then took us to the TM and AF and waited whilst we went in. He then dropped us off to a Pinch of Spice for lunch which although looks like any UK Indian restaurant was very good indeed. We then slept for 3 hrs back at the house before a fab dinner was served up. WiFi access is also here.

We stayed for three nights and loved it. The place is located in the southern outskirts of Agra. Mr. Rajbansh (the owner) is very friendly and supportive regarding everything you might need during your stay (taxis, tuk-tuk, detail informations, "off-the-beaten-track-sites").The rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Now to the food, it's simply delicious. Homecooked food of this type is better (and cheaper) than any resturant you can find in town. My recommendation for Agra: two or three nights at this place, we'll do it again.
